Praxis is a local, offline practice app. We do not operate servers that collect your data.
Data We Collect
None by default. Praxis does not collect or transmit personal information, usage analytics, or device identifiers.
Data You Provide
- Local library data: audio files, metadata, playlists, tags, and lyrics you add are stored locally on your device.
- Settings: preferences (themes, MIDI options, display settings) are stored locally.
- MIDI: MIDI input/output is optional and fully local.
- Praxis Remote: if enabled, Praxis advertises and accepts local-network remote control connections on your LAN only.
How Data Is Used
All data is used only to provide app functionality and remains on your device.
Data Sharing
We do not share data with third parties. Praxis does not embed third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
Network Access
Praxis does not require internet access for core playback/library functionality. Optional network activity can occur when you use Praxis Remote on your local network, or when you open external links in your system browser (for example documentation or project websites).
Your Choices
You can delete local data by removing songs/playlists/tags, clearing app data, or uninstalling Praxis.
Children’s Privacy
Praxis is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information.
