Praxis is designed to keep your working data local.
Plain-English Summary
Praxis does not run a cloud service for your library, playlists, lyrics, or settings.
Data We Collect
None by default. Praxis does not collect personal information, analytics, or device identifiers.
Data You Store
- Songs, metadata, playlists, tags, and lyrics stay on your device.
- Settings stay on your device.
- MIDI input and output are local.
- Praxis Remote, if enabled, uses your local network only.
How Data Is Used
Everything stays in service of the app itself. Nothing is used for advertising or analytics.
Network Access
Praxis does not require internet access for normal playback or library work.
Optional network activity can happen only when:
- you use Praxis Remote on your LAN
- you open external links in your browser
Your Choices
You can remove local data by deleting songs, clearing app data, or uninstalling Praxis.
If you are not using Remote, disable it in Settings for extra peace of mind.
Children’s Privacy
Praxis is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information.
