How Praxis handles local data, network access, Remote connections, and user choices.

Praxis is designed to keep your working data local.
Plain-English Summary
Praxis does not run a cloud service for your library, playlists, lyrics, or settings.
Data We Collect
None by default. Praxis does not collect personal information, analytics, or device identifiers.
Data You Store
- Songs, metadata, playlists, tags, and lyrics stay on your device.
- Imported PDF scores and PDF remastering stay on your device. Score analysis does not use a cloud service.
- Settings stay on your device.
- MIDI input and output are local.
- Praxis Remote, if enabled, uses your local network only.
- Praxis Remote stores its remembered host and optional pairing token securely on the iPhone.
How Data Is Used
Everything stays in service of the app itself. Nothing is used for advertising or analytics.
Network Access
Praxis does not require internet access for normal playback or library work.
Optional network activity can happen only when:
- you use Praxis Remote on your LAN
- you purchase or restore Praxis Unlimited through the App Store
- you open external links in your browser
App Store purchases are processed by Apple. Praxis receives entitlement status needed to unlock Unlimited; it does not receive or store your payment-card details.
Your Choices
You can remove local data by deleting songs, clearing app data, or uninstalling Praxis.
If you are not using Remote, disable it in Settings for extra peace of mind.
Children’s Privacy
Praxis is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information.
