Supporting Passage
Free features, optional one-time support, illustrated digital keepsakes, purchase restoration, and publisher-support differences.
Coming soon. Passage has not been released. This guide previews the current development version; controls and availability may change before launch.
Every listening feature is included
Passage is being built to be free, with every feature included. Optional support purchases offer a way to help its development. They do not unlock Voice Enhance, follows, playlists, sync, or another listening capability.
Purchase availability, localized prices, and final store configuration will be confirmed at release. Passage has not launched; this page does not offer a web checkout or require a payment to join a waiting list.
Illustrated keepsakes
The current support design includes illustrated digital ticket, postcard, and print keepsakes. They are artwork in your Passage collection, not physical merchandise to be shipped. Each is a permanent one-time purchase, with a thank-you presentation and artwork you can revisit.
These keepsakes use Apple’s in-app purchase system. A keepsake is different from a recurring subscription: buying it is a choice to support Passage, not an ongoing charge or a feature entitlement.
Send Thanks
Send Thanks is a consumable one-time payment each time you choose it. It is not a subscription, and it cannot be restored as an owned permanent keepsake. Confirm the Apple purchase sheet and displayed price before completing any payment.
Restore Purchases
Restore Purchases checks eligible permanent keepsakes associated with your Apple Account. Use the intended purchasing account and an available network. A consumable Send Thanks payment does not reappear through restore.
If a permanent item does not appear, note the item, platform, app version, and any visible message. Do not email a full payment-card number or Apple password. Apple handles the payment transaction and purchase-account management.
Supporting a publisher is separate
A podcast’s funding link can take you to the publisher’s own support provider. Passage support purchases do not buy a podcast subscription or pay Podcasting 2.0 value recipients. Publisher payment/wallet adapters remain separate roadmap work.
Real Apple purchase and restore behavior still require final sandbox/release qualification. This guide describes the intended support model and current implementation, not a completed store approval.
