Overview

MIDI Set Lister does not collect personal information, usage analytics, or advertising identifiers for the developer. The app's working data is stored locally on your device.

Data stored on your device

The app stores the information required for your setup, including songs, notes, MIDI messages, gigs, sets, settings, and theme choice. This data remains on the device unless you use a feature that intentionally moves or exposes a copy, such as Web Control, backup export, or an iOS device backup.

Web Control

When you enable Web Control, MIDI Set Lister runs a local server while the app is in the foreground. A browser on the same local network can view and change app data through the address shown by the app.

Web Control does not send this data to the developer. Network traffic stays on the local network under normal operation. Use Web Control only on a network you trust, close browser sessions when finished, and turn Web Control off when you do not need it.

Import and export

The app creates a .midisetlist file only when you choose to export one. A complete library backup can contain songs, MIDI messages, gigs, settings, and theme information. An individual gig export contains the gig, sets, and referenced song information; it can optionally include MIDI when Export MIDI in Gigs is enabled. If you save or share an export through Files, cloud storage, Messages, email, or another service, that copy is handled according to the destination you selected.

Importing a complete backup reads the file you choose and replaces the corresponding local app data. Importing a shared gig adds or updates the gig and matches its songs against the local library; it does not contact the developer or a cloud matching service.

Device backups

Apple's device or iCloud backup services may include app data according to your device and Apple account settings. Those services are governed by Apple's privacy practices.

Third-party services

MIDI Set Lister does not include third-party advertising, tracking, or analytics SDKs. The developer does not sell or share personal data collected by the app because the app does not collect that data for the developer.

Children's privacy

MIDI Set Lister does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change, this policy will be updated with a new date.
